Treatment of ingrown nails by wire

There are two types of ingrown nails: the type in which the nail curves and grows crosswise, and the type in which the edge of the nail cuts into the skin. Both of these cause inflammation. The first type initially only causes slight pain, so many people do not see a doctor. But when left unattended it can dig into the flesh and end up causing severe pain. When a wound festers with either condition, it limits the treatments that can be done, so it is important to treat these conditions early.
